The Napa Valley is only about thirty miles long, but the weather shifts a lot along the way, and paint wears differently at each end. American Canyon and south Napa get cool air and wind off San Pablo Bay, with damp mornings even in summer. The city of Napa has a little of everything, from Victorians downtown to ranch homes and newer subdivisions. Yountville and St. Helena sit among the vineyards, warmer and sunnier, with plenty of stone, stucco and older wood siding. Calistoga, at the valley's north end, is the hottest of the five. Each town page below covers what we watch for on homes there. Outside these five? Call us anyway.
